How Spectrum handles your data
This page describes the privacy model as implemented today — not aspirational marketing.
Answers stay private
Individual answers and in-progress attempts are never published. Completing a test produces a summarized result (scores and related summaries) — not a dump of every answer you submitted.
Profiles and results are public by default
New profiles default to public, and new completed results get a public link by default so they can appear on your profile and be shared. You can switch a profile to members-only or private, hide result history from your profile, or mark any individual result private at any time.
Accounts and anonymous use
Some tests allow anonymous attempts. Anonymous progress is tied to a browser cookie resume token so you can continue the same attempt. Signing in with Discord lets Spectrum associate attempts and results with your account for history and profile features.
What we store
Depending on how you use Spectrum, we may store account identity from Discord sign-in, optional profile details you provide, test attempts, answers, calculated scores, and whether a result is marked public. Aggregated statistics (such as completion counts) may appear on the site without identifying you.
